How long do eyelid lift results (blepharoplasty) last?
Blepharoplasty results will last for 10-15 years as long as you maintain a stable body weight. As our skin continues to age over time, further procedures may be desired.
What is the down time after eyelid surgery?
It may take 1-2 weeks for the swelling and bruising to dissipate after eyelid surgery. Generally individuals will feel comfortable being out in public after 1-2 weeks.
How can I determine if I need a brow lift, upper eyelid lift, or both?
If you have both saggy brows and upper eyelids, a brow lift will likely be recommended to address your symptoms. Once your brows are in proper position and your upper eyelids are still saggy, then an upper eyelid lift (blepharoplasty) procedure may also be recommended.
Can brow lift make forehead smaller?
Depending on the brow lift technique, your hairline may appear higher or lower afterwards. With an endoscopic style temporal brow lift, the hairline moves back in order to lift the brows and smooth the forehead.
