The Kleb Woods Nature Preserve is the place to be for a little bit of bird-watching, hiking, or local history experience. This location was once the property of Conrad Kleb, who was a German immigrant inhabiting the area in the 1840’s. The facility was a farm till 1933, when the then-current owner let the land back to nature. Visitors here get to learn more about the original settlers here and their way of life while exploring the Kleb family’s home, the 1901-built barn, the guest home, and more.
